Note that this is not a comprehensive list, and advanced requests can easily be incorporated into your event's set list. Many selections are appropriate for more than one part of ceremony; feel free to ask for as little or as much help as you want in choosing appropriate musical selections.

Major parts of a wedding ceremony include the:
Prelude - Music for when guests are arriving, usually 15-30 minutes in length. Music mood should be cheerful and relaxed, setting the appropriate tone for the ceremony.

Interlude - Brief time in ceremony for reflection; can be an event such as Lighting of the Unity Candle or Sand Ceremony. Music mood should be representative of reflective moment in ceremony.
