Hailed as "someone to watch" for possessing "wonderful technique as well as keen musical sensibilities" by ClevelandClassical.com, classical guitarist Krystin O'Mara’s dazzling soloistic capabilities render her an extraordinary talent with captivating sound quality, intense musicality, and interpretive clarity.  In recent seasons, Ms. O’Mara has appeared on several concert series throughout America, including the Cleveland International Classical Guitar Festival (performance guitar exhibition), the Princeton Sound Kitchen, the New Music Festival at Bowling Green State University, the Cleveland Classical Guitar Society Local Artists and Rising Stars Series, Playhouse Square's Summer Garden Series, Stars in the Classics chamber music series, and the US Navy Band International Saxophone Symposium.  Ms. O'Mara has recorded for Centaur and Albany records and her first solo CD, entitled "OBSESSION," was recorded to critical acclaim and features a similarly titled piece written for her by award-winning composer Viet Cuong, which won the 2014 Boston Guitarfest Composition Competition.  Ms. O'Mara received advanced degrees from the Cleveland Institute of Music, where she studied with world-renown, Grammy wining guitarist Jason Vieaux, and the Peabody Conservatory of Music, where she studied with Julian Gray.  Ms. O'Mara currently serves on faculty at Agnes Scott College as an Artist Affiliate.
